Secondary Social Studies Research
This research model will provide a framework for a comprehensive, collaborative research project between the members of the social studies department and the media specialist. This process will identify and support the cognitive skills that students need in order to devise meaningful and varied products and form a deeper understanding of social studies content.

21st Century Information Fluency
This project (21CIF) develops and shares free online resources designed to enable all learners to locate, evaluate and use digital information more effectively, efficiently and ethically. From the theoretical to the practical, from online tutorials to kits and wizards, this site has covers all the permutations of Information Literacy from multiple perspectives.
Information Age Inquiry
This websuite represents the syllabus for a course taught at Indiana University entitled Information Inquiry for Teachers created by Danny Callison, Ed.D., that combines information from two of his books, Keywords, Concepts and Methods for Information Age Instruction: A Guide to Teaching Information Inquiry (2003) and THE BLUE BOOK on Information Age Inquiry, Instruction and Literacy (2006). It includes overviews on all aspects of the topic, descriptions of various information problem-solving models, links to state, national and international standards and examples of units and student work incorporating 21st century learning skills.
21st Century Literacies
Part of the Knowledge Network Explorer developed by AT&T in collaboration with educators in California. It focuses on information, media, multicultural and visual literacies and includes bibliographies, weblinks and lesson plans designed to help teachers integrate new literacies into their instruction.
